As you likely know, those who have been using the official OneDrive desktop client can easily download all files without having to follow this procedure. However, this guide is for those who want to download files, photos or albums from SkyDrive without installing the desktop client.
Here is the code I am using right now, it has been tested working to download a file, however if there is authentication required such as one drive, I am not able to authenticate and download the file. The code I have is here:
With Microsoft’s OneDrive, this can be addressed. OneDrive has a feature that allows you to fetch files remotely from your Windows PC running the OneDrive desktop application. It can retrieve all your files on that PC, including all the files in the attached or networked devices. Microsoft’s Files On-Demand feature today started rolling out to OneDrive for Business customers on macOS. Files On-Demand lets you access all your files in OneDrive without having to download all of them. Upload files or photos to OneDrive in Android. Upload files or photos to OneDrive in iOS. Upload files or photos to OneDrive for Windows mobile devices. From Microsoft Office or Office 365. In any Office document, select File > Save As, choose your OneDrive, and then pick the folder where you want to save the file. Services like Dropbox and OneDrive are a great way to get access to all your documents across multiple PCs, tablets, and your phone. The problem is you have to remember to place files in the specified Dropbox or OneDrive folder for it to be of any use.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Why Get-Credential Won't work on it's own
In order to download a file from OneDrive, you will not be able to simply provide your username / password in a
System.Management.Automation.PSCredential
object like you get from Get-Credential
. When working with online services you have to delegate permissions to an application (in this case, your PowerShell script), which will give you a token you can use to download files. One of the most popular forms of credential delegation is oAuth. I cover oAuth basics in this blog post here, if you want to learn how to handle oAuth/similar delegation on your own.
Generally speaking, you will not want to roll your own oAuth solution, especially if someone else has already done it for you.
A Convenient Alternative
Fortunately Marcel Meurer already wrote a PowerShell module for OneDrive which handles all of the heavy lifting of Credential Delegation and sign on for you! He talks about in his post here.
Install the Module with the following
Next, you can create a one hour token using the following two cmdlets.
This will launch a GUI window in which you sign in with your OneDrive credentials and assign them to a token.
Once you've done that, you can download a file using the following syntax
This will download the file into your current folder. For additional examples on working with this module, check out Marcel's blog post which has in-depth samples for most use cases, including how to handle expiring tokens.

How do I transfer my pics from one drive into my laptop? I tried downloading but it didn't work and there are too many to do one at a time.

Download All Files From Onedrive For Business
You can do two things:
You can download the photos using the OneDrive client. Depending on what OS you have installed you just need to set it up (Windows 8, 10) as it's pre-installed. For Windows 7 or other systems go here.
You can also download all pictures through the browser as a single zip-file. Go into the folder you'd like to get and click the 'download' link in the top bar.

If you are on a machine running Windows, the good thing is you have OneDrive preinstalled, and all you need to do is sign in with your Microsoft Account, and the photos will be downloaded onto your machine.
Powershell Download All Files From Onedrive
If you already have Windows running on this laptop you want your pictures on, and have already signed in with your Microsoft account, navigate to your user account's root directory, (
C:Useryour_username
), and you will find a folder named Onedrive:In that folder, all the stuff that is on your OneDrive account will be syncronized into this folder. Everything thats on the cloud is downloaded automatically into this folder, so your photos will be in there as well.
Navigate to a folder named 'Pictures', in the Onedrive directory. Under there, you will find all your photos from the cloud in there.
However, If you are using any alternative operating system, you have to visit onedrive.live.com, right click onto a folder that contains the photos you want, and click download, and the contents will be zipped and downloaded as just one compressed file, which you can then extract all the contents after the download has finished:
